Producing Handmade Soap is not a difficult task, but it does take some perseverance.Have you ever thought about having a go yourself?It’s not something that gives you instant gratification but is well worth the effort.Once your mix is made and poured, it will take a day or two to set before you can turn it out of it’s mould. Then it will take at least four weeks to cure before it’s safe to use on your skin.

At Kim’s Classic Handmade Soaps just to be sure we cure our soaps for at least eight weeks.

This also allows more time for hardening.It so satisfying when you take that very first piece of Handmade Soap that you produced and get to bathe or shower with it. It’s just YUMMY !I’m self taught in the art of Soap making, and while I have had my disasters, the vast majority of my efforts are successful. I’m still learning all the time, and still find it enjoyable and therapeutic after more than 10 years. Really, you’re only limited by your own imagination when it comes to making soap, there are so many fragrances to choose from, and the moulds and colors and techniques available are endless.
